The 3
nights originally scheduled for Diddley Squat in
Seaside, Florida
this weekend have been postponed till Oct. 3rd
– 5th at
Bud & Alley’s.
The unpredictable route of Tropical Storm Fay is, of course,
the cause of the cancellation. Guess we’ll have to wait a
while longer to sample that 5-star cuisine.

Marietta, Georgia, they met some wonderful representatives of
the Atlanta Blues Society at
Darwin’s,

Shed Barbeque & blues
in Gulfport, Mississippi
they had a very personable & professional soundman who went by
the nickname of “Tex”. Just so happened he’d played harp with
Bo Diddley, and he got up and kicked some booty with them
before the night was over. Besides all that, he was FULL of
musician jokes and kept them laughing all evening. Thanks,
Tex, for a wonderful evening.
The next
night, at
The
Shed
in Ocean Springs,
Miss.,
they encountered the most enthusiastic and sweetest crowd
since Crossroads
Coffeehouse & Music Co. in Winnsboro, Tx. What a
FUN BUNCH OF FOLKS! Mr. Jimmy- keep leadin’ those ladies to
the dance floor!
